Review: The Legend of the Season: Magic of the Pearls

I thought it fitting to write my review of this heartwarming tale as it begins on a bitter-cold December night much like tonight.

The Legend of the Season: Magic of the Pearls draws upon some history such as the spectacular freshwater Pearl which was discovered in Notch Brook.

You may be aware that people have used Pearls for healing for centuries. Can you imagine a 30-year journey filled with suffering - or the Celebration of Life that might occur when finally freed from illness?

In this tale, a couple, Julia and Herschel DeCoeurs, undertake a  30-year journey to eradicate a deadly virus using magical pearls to help improve the lives of families.

With great suffering comes great trauma and some of you might imagine the behaviors that are witnessed as fear shrouds the plagued land. This couple combatted the distress with their compassion and selflessness.

This captivating story is complimented by 25 original paintings. Some images depict actual locations in Paterson and each image portrays poignant moments in this Lovely Legend.
