Review: Finley Miles Darby Meets the Bisons at Yellowstone
People often learn through awareness and for many years, people have been sharing letters and journaling about their adventures at our first national park, Yellowstone.
Thousands of people travel to Yellowstone to see the geology and hydrology, checking out the canyons, springs, and rare phenomena. But when you ask them about their best memory of Yellowstone some will often say - the wildlife - especially the Bison.
I love that this children's book opens with Zen the Newfoundland and Buddha the Frenchy. The two dogs are peering over the fence and talking to one another as Finley is just returning to the house after a weekend with his dad in Yellowstone National Park.
Finley tells Zen and Buddha all about his adventures in Yellowstone. This assists young readers in learning details about the features at Yellowstone and about the Bison roaming free around the plains.
