March 2025 Reads

In March I celebrated Women's History Month. I reviewed Events, Exhibits, and Collections and watched the video on The Fly Girls Revolt: The Story of the Women Who Kicked Open the Door to Fly in Combat.

I read a couple of books this month. The Traveler of Truth America's First Superhero The Sojourner Truth Story and All New Square Foot Gardening Series.

We attended a literary festival. It was good to be surrounded by fellow book lovers! We got to meet authors who shared behind-the-scenes stories and writing tips, themes in literature, and the state of publishing. 

We spent some time at Hyde Brothers Booksellers where the store cat Scout used my husband to get a better view of her surroundings. 

Goodbye, Parka. Hello Spring. The spring equinox arrived on March 20, 2025. I love spring. The daffodils are in bloom and the Cardinals are again building nests in our forsythia.
