My Thoughts
Over the years, I have spent many hours along beaches
and in observation (lookout) towers.
It is calming to look out through the binoculars and view waterfowl, raptors, country birds, and those moving through the area.
If you are unable to climb a tower, a boardwalk running through the woods is often accessible and provides an awesome view of the wetland's close-up.
Yes, the images above are some of my favorite places to view birds. And with that said, I simply adore this box set of lovely postcards by David Allen Sibley!
