October 2018 Loft Reads

Compiling this blog post I realize I’ve read many inspirational books during the month of October.

I am enjoying fall– but it doesn’t quite look like this photo above that I took years ago at Wildwood Preserve. Instead, it is raining nearly every day here and the leaves that are still left on the trees have only just begun to change color. But thanks to a slew of authors, agents, and publishers I’m enjoying my time inside curled up on the sofa with a book/ ebook in hand.

I started October off reading The Last Amazon which was created to inspire people to not allow our society to reach the post-apocalyptic state like in the novel.

I moved on to read Never in Finer Company and did not know much about WWI but like the author, I also had family that fought and were perhaps haunted by the experience.

In Chronicles of the Anti-Christ, we learn there are rules, regulations, or procedures that an individual is subject to, but has little control over, making them contradictory rules.

Jane Eyre Manga Classics reaches out to all ages and teaches that hardships should not define the person.

Tiny Poems For Gentle Hearts reminds one of the innocence of youth.

Beyond The Red Carpet helps us realize when in a bad situation we should attempt to remove ourselves from it as soon as possible.

In reading this book Fresh News Straight From Heaven we recognize everything in nature has a unique place and we understand why some people do their best contemplating while hiking.

The Gift of the Quoxxel is zany while being a great brain teaser.

Dark Chains will help heal families hurting mentally and emotionally.

Ascendant shows the devastation that can easily occur and why there is a need for people to band together, especially in a crisis.

Leading from the Roots teaches we can choose to have nurturing and enhancing workplace relationships.

Crossroads helps us relive old feelings and may help us express new ones.

The Amazing Ninja Brothers: Entering the Deep Unknown teaches the importance of empathy for children that have behavioral challenges.

Jurassic Giants provides great detail of pre-historic times and may inspire future scientists in the application of scientific techniques.

Moonshots: Creating a World of Abundance shows the importance of imagination and how super entrepreneurs have this and it plays a significant role in what makes them visionary leaders.

Lights on the Sea teaches us that those we love are always with us even when they are not present.
