My Review
If you're searching for a story where the main character has an upbringing in quaint old England and goes on to be a world traveler then you may wish to read Through All the Changing Scenes of Life.
The descriptive writing includes a model railway and amusing characters such as one with fluorescent socks and I like that some of the places traveled are nearby and people are recognizable.
