Review: Aspire Higher: How to Find the Love, Positivity, and Purpose to Elevate Your Life and The World!  Ken Linder

Ken Lindner explains how to use his Positive Life Choice Psychology (PLCP) program to improve your quality of life. He includes life lessons to get us thinking about how we might help others, as well as ourselves, overcome fear and insecurities or self-imposed restrictions.

We are often taught to treat others the way we want to be treated. If we make a positive choice to follow this instruction we are kind, caring, and respectful.

This book gives some insight into times when poor choices are made. There are some instances where Lindner points out situations where people were emotional and impulsive. They overreact to situations, without knowing the whole story. In the end, they felt embarrassment and shame for their self-sabotaging behavior of focusing on others' flaws when they should have been focusing on their own.

Research shows that people who feel confident in themselves can problem solve and make better decisions, stand up for themselves, and forge ahead to meet their goals.

Positive thinking begins with self-talk. You know it's that thing we often do where we put our best foot forward. We go into an interview or important meeting pumping ourselves up with 'I can do it. 'I'm good enough.'  'If I make a mistake there will be something I can learn from it.'

There are chapters discussing how to overcome negativity to provide love, repair, and healing. Lindner's insights and activities help guide readers to confidence and self-esteem so they will feel more in control and better able to achieve a state of well-being.
