March is National Reading Month



In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday, March is designated as National Reading Month - a month to motivate Americans of all ages to read every day. 





Anapestic tetrameter is the type of poetry that Seuss used in his most popular books.  Each line of a poem is written with this kind of rhythm and in all of Dr. Seuss' books, you'll find repeating sounds that create an engaging story.
