May Reads 2022

This has been a busy month. We have been enjoying the spring weather.  We purchased plants and seeds from some Amish merchants and we got our garden planted. We also made time to get the graves decorated prior to the Memorial Holiday.  I read a small amount this month and relaxed with some coloring.

I read Love Your Life Workbook: Over 120 exercises to design a life you love by Ayesha Ratnayake. The workbook provides practical exercises recommended by psychologists, scientists, and researchers to accelerate a journey towards happiness and success.  It starts with the best place in life to be-the Happy Place and you can draw or write your thoughts on the Happy List.

The Anxiety Relief Coloring Book for Adults: Mindful Coloring to Decrease Stress & Anxiety by Kara Holmes.

The illustrations are wonderful and I like that a few have inspiring quotes. There are books to color and like like the jar filled with candies and buttons.

The Paper Tiger Syndrome: How to Liberate Yourself from the Illusion of Fear by Rebecca A. Ward. I appreciate that Ward provides exercises in things such as beliefs, community, lineage, and rituals and speaks to the benefits of keeping a personal journal.

My husband went to a sale and purchased 5 gardening books for me. I look forward to studying them.
