I have lived long enough that I recall manuscripts that were written by pen, typewriter, word processor, and more recently an editor.
There are a few things to take into consideration when using editors, such as
- The interface provides resources for your novel.
- Moving to the format features, such as. bold and italic, lists, and alignment.
- Creating the structure/outline of your novel.
- Work on referencing characters, and their relationships. and any plot twists
- Tracking progress
- Exporting
- Publishing.
Earlier this week, I was contacted by the founder of bibisco Novel Writing Software making me aware that bibisco's first official tutorial has been released on youtube. You can view it here.
