The Mitzi Clark Series by Grace Mirchandani

When I think about YA reads I often think of Supernatural Young Adult Fantasy books.

If you looking for a well-crafted YA where an eighth-grade trio encounters Vampires, Werewolves, and other menacing creatures you may want to try out The Mitzi Clark series by Grace Mirchandani.

When I was a kid I decided to dig a hole along the back of our property. I dug and dug and sifted through the dirt and found I had dug up a tiny glass vase. This sent me on a quest to learn where it came from and how it got there. 

In Mitzi's case, she found a little box buried on their farm. It was just not any old box. It was a box that was curiously initialed F. C. 

In the next book in this engaging series, an ancient artifact has been stolen and Mitzi and her two best friends uncover family secrets of a supernatural nature. 

During their adventures, they learn that danger can come in many different forms and they find themselves immersed in a web of crazy fights, mysteries, and kidnappings.

The third book I have yet to read but am told it is about true friendship.
