This children's picture book opens in a small village on the edge of a forest. The daughter takes a walk in the woods and gets lost. Not knowing a child's whereabouts or if they are okay can be excruciating. In this story, a family prays for their daughter's safe return while a search party combs the woods looking for her.
This story has many significant points. A few of these are a young girl wanders off into the woods which can be a contemplative atmosphere and one might recognize the importance of retracing footsteps. A community comes together to assist the parents in finding their daughter. The parents realize building relationships requires them to let go of control while maintaining their faith and hope.
