September 2023 Reads

I hope you all are well and had a splendid September

I was able to read quite a bit this month and am now 3 books ahead of my yearly goal. Yeah!!

Our September went something like this.

We visited with family, attended festivals, watched a pet parade, and went to the lake to watch the pelicans and bald eagles.

We purchased items from a few antique malls, thrift stores, and garage sales. We started our fall decorating and picked some apples, pears, and tomatoes. We made apple dumplings, applesauce, pear jam, pear butter, salsa, and pasta sauce. We did some hiking to collect leaves and watched a few films old and new. We continued our Tuesday date night where we relaxed in front of the television and watched Only Murders In the Building.
